From South Africa To Czech Republic In Search Of High Quality Rap Music!
If I am honest, there isn't much of a rap and hip-hop music scene here in South Africa. There used to be a thriving one but things have quietened down in recent years, which is a shame.
In fact, the place where I recently found an unexpectedly lively rap music scene was in Czech Republic when I was over there with friends recently. Well, not just friends, but also my new girlfriend that I had managed to charm on a local Durban dating site!
Actually, I think I was probably lucky enough to have found a girl who was interested in rap music because I hadn't had much success in that department, and from the outset she was intrigued by the possibility of seeing the Makaveli Branded Rap Band Tour over there.
It was a really great experience as well, but the whole trip to the country (we also saw a fair amount of Austria, which was also beautiful) was amazing. I bet she wasn't expecting all this to happen when she joined that Durban dating site!
