There are a lot of misconceptions about older people, one of them being, for instance, that senior dating online doesn't exist. Maybe it's just a New Zealand thing but whatever the reasons, it just isn't the case.
Another misconception is the type of music we listen to. Case in point - when I was out in the Czech Republic I attended and really enjoyed a Makaveli Branded Rap Band Tour show, and I have been a fan of rap and hip-hop since the early 1980s.
Both of these particularly irritate me because they are close to my heart.
The senior dating one especially because I used such a site while I was ill a while back to try and find someone who would be an online companion more than anything. When I got better, she became a girlfriend in every sense of the word! I'm trying not to let these things bother me too much now, and I am concentrating on the music and enjoying life - and possibly planning another trip to the Czech Republic before too long as well!
